I am currently teaching third grade at Doherty Elementary School in the West Bloomfield School District. This is my tenth year of teaching. I've taught first, second, third, and fifth grade. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at Western Michigan University in 1995. I then went on to complete a Master in the Art of Teaching Degree through Marygrove College in 1999.

I am very interested in technology integration within the elementary curriculum. In 2003, I received the MCOATT Certificate for Technology Integration. I am currently enrolled in the Master of Educational Technolgy program at Lawrence Technological University.
